Save for Christmas throughout the year with a Christmas Club account. Deposits can be made using direct deposit/payroll deduction or you can choose to make your own. Funds are transferred to your savings account at the beginning of October each year.
- Certificates of Deposit
Open a federally insured certificates of deposit with only a $500 investment. Terms range from 90 days up to 30 months. A special option with our 6 month certificate is that you can add money to it at any time during the term.
- Money Market Accounts
Watch your money grow with a Money Market Account. The initial deposit is only $1,000 and the higher your balance, the higher your dividend rate. You can make up to six (6) free withdrawals per month and the checks are free.
- IRAs (Individual Retirement Accounts)
Traditional or Roth IRAs: Use these IRAs to supplement your retirement earnings. The initial opening deposit is only $500 and terms range from 12 to 48 months. Education IRAs: Save for your child’s future education.

- Cellular Telephone Protection2 Cell phones are part of our daily lives. Replacing them if they are stolen or damaged can be costly. As an eligible account holder you can receive up to $300 of Cellular Telephone Coverage to reimburse the cost of replacing or repairing your device. 1 IDProtect service is a personal identity theft protection service available to personal checking account owner(s), their joint account owners and their eligible family members. The service is available to non-publicly traded businesses and their business owner(s) listed on the account and their eligible family members (service not available to employees or authorized signers who are not owners). Service is not available to a “signer” on the account who is not an account owner. Service is not available to clubs, organizations and/or churches and their members, schools and their employees/students. For revocable grantor trusts, the service is available only when a grantor is serving as a trustee and covers the grantor trustee(s) and their eligible family members. For all other ﬁduciary accounts, the service covers the beneﬁciary, who must be the primary member, and their eligible family members (Fiduciary is not covered). Family includes: Spouse, persons qualifying as domestic partner, and children under 25 years of age and parent(s) of the account holder who are residents of the same household.

(This fee does not apply to members under age 25 or over age 65.*When you reach the age 25, the Secure Checking monthly service charge of $6.00 will automatically begin to be deducted from this account. )
Free Electronic Services
Register for free, unlimited online access to your account. Click on the Log In tab located at the top of our home page. Choose Enroll. You will enter your Member Account Number, which is your SAVINGS account number. Your CALL 24 PIN is the last four digits of the primary owner’s Social Security number unless you changed it when using CALL 24.
Access your account using any web-enabled mobile phone. After you have registered for Online Banking, use the Login Tab to select Mobile Money App.
Bill Pay Services*
Pay your bills online each month with free Bill Pay Services from CheckFree.
*You must have a checking account and be a registered online banking account user.
Electronic statements are free; however, there is a charge for paper statements unless you have a Secure Checking Account.
After you have registered for Online Banking, login and locate the Online Statement link. You can find this by clicking any of your accounts.
CardValet®, a new card management and fraud mitigation tool for debit cardholders. Cardholders simply download the free app from the Apple® App Store or Google® Play Store, and then they can actively manage their debit cards.

- T.A.D.S Club*
Introduce your child to good savings habits with the Toadly Awesome Dollar Savers (T.A.D.S) Club. Children ages 10 and under can join the club by opening a savings account. AFCU will make the $5.00 opening deposit and quarterly dividends are paid on balances above $100. T.A.D.S Club Members get prizes when they open an account and a T.A.D.S pad stamp each time they make a deposit.
- Youth Certificate*
Open a Youth Certificate Account to earn higher dividends and save for long term goals like a first time car. This 12 month certificate is available to members under the age of 18. The minimum opening deposit is only $100 and you can make deposits anytime.
*Restrictions on the T.A.D.S Club and the Youth Certificate prevent minors from making withdrawals, unless the custodian on the account is present until the age of 18. Ask an employee for more information.
- Coverdell Educational Savings Account (ESA)**
Preparing for your child's education can be a financial challenge. Using a Coverdell Educational Savings Account (ESA) is an easy way to secure your child's education. Deposits made to this account grow tax free* if distributions are used for qualified educational expenses. This includes tuition, fees, books, supplies, equipment, and in some cases, room and board and computers. Coverdell ESAs can also be used to pay for qualified elementary and secondary education expenses too.
