Our Representatives will read and explain appropriate materials to members who want help with products and services or conducting financial transactions.
We recommend using the most current versions of computer-based assistive technologies applications and browsers. There are easy-to-use controls for adjusting the size and colors of content on a web page. There are no ideal content size or color combinations for all users. By using the controls provided in browsers, you can personalize the content presentation in your browser. You can adjust text size and colors and adjust size of content.
We do not provide assistive technology applications or browsers. Please visit the individual manufacturer’s site for information about how to obtain them. You also may have access to assistance from local and state agencies or non-profit groups in your area.
AndersonFederal Credit Union provides the talking ATM feature on its ATMs. Talking ATMs deliver audio information through any standard personal headset (3.5 mm), making it possible for people with visual impairments to use the ATM while ensuring their security. Members may use their own headset (3.5 mm audio jack) to access the talking ATM.
Anderson Federal Credit Union offers Sight Checks for members who are visually impaired. Sight Checks are larger checks with larger type font and raised text and lines for easy reading and check writing. A special register is automatically included at no charge. Sight Checks are available in duplicate only. An alternative to Sight Checks is Online Bill Pay.
Screen reader applications – the Anderson Federal Credit Union website is designed to be screen reader friendly. Screen reader users can usually navigate a website using the tab and arrow keys or keyboard shortcuts.
Skip navigation – Screen reader users can use this option on our website to skip the header and sidebar menus and directly view the main content of any page for ease of use.
ALT Tags in graphics – Our website graphics have ALT Tags describing the respective images when necessary. This allows persons with physical or technical limitations to collect the information provided by the image.
Adjusting browser text size and color – Your internet browser allows you to change the accessibility setting to adjust the text size.
Captions – Closed captioning can be turned on for each video for users with hearing disabilities. The captions also can be read by screen readers.
Minimized screen flicker frequency – Our website has little video, flash or moving on-screen presentations to minimize flicker, movement or rotations and in designed to avoid causing the screen to flicker with a frequency greater than 2 Hz and lower than 55 Hz.
